BSI Standards Publications PD76006 Guide to L&D

The standard offers guidance and recommendations on approaches for an organisation in relation to planning, supporting and evaluating learning and development (L&D).

76006 provides a framework for organisations to use in the development of its approaches in terms of L&D at both individual and organisational levels.

The standard is based on five equally valuable principles for L&D:

  • Individual level learning and development
  • Common learning methods
  • Organisational level learning and development
  • Learning roles and responsibilities
  • Assessing and evaluating learning & development
