Centre For Assessment has achieved accreditation to the new ISO 27006 standard from the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS).

The transition to the revised standard secures CFA’s accreditation to certify information security management systems under ISO 27001, with all assessors having passed the updated competence requirements.

ISO 27006 lays out the formal requirements for accredited organisations like CFA which certify other organisations, so is an essential assurance that the certifications provided are trustworthy and genuine.

CFA Operations Director Dave Harrison said: “Accreditation to the standard demonstrates the high level of competence of our technical assessors and the standard of knowledge and service our clients can expect to receive from us as a UKAS accredited provider of Information Security Certification.”
