Why Customer First?
To allow staff to assess the progress towards our journey of excellence, test our services against a national standard and to support our understanding of specific markets needs, especially with the changes within our sector
What were the benefits of being assessed?
The Customer First assessment allowed managers to re-affirm belief in good practice, whilst enabling the whole team to benchmark services in the context of day to day business. The assessment was a key motivator for staff, who now have something tangible that recognises the high levels of service provided to the customer
What Improvements Followed?
Feedback mechanisms have been formalised, customers are more aware of changes that have been adopted following their feedback. Leadership abilities of all staff, at all levels, are highlighted within the Department.
