Centre for Assessment would like to reassure all our valued clients – existing and new – that we intend to continue providing our usual high-quality training, assessment and certification services in a flexible, supportive and responsible way.
Guidance for new certification clients
Are we taking on new clients?
We understand that you have many other priorities right now. Keeping your business or organisation going in the face of governmental restrictions is probably the biggest challenge you have ever faced. We will continue to take on new clients and provide the support and help needed in these times of adversity until we are advised otherwise by the Government.
Centre for Assessment will work with you to complete your audit/assessment at a time that best suits you. If you choose to work with us, there will be no pressure on you to complete your audit/assessment within a prescribed period of time.
How will we help with costs?
You may be more aware than ever of the financial pressures that face your organisation during these extraordinary times. Centre for Assessment recognises this and wants to give you the following reassurances.

Guidance for existing certification clients
How are we adapting our services?
In line with Government guidance and with support from UKAS and other bodies, Centre for Assessment will be completing remote audits and assessments until further notice. We hope that this will have limited impact on the quality and robustness of the service you receive from us.

What if a remote audit/assessment is not possible?
We recognise that some of our clients will not have the infrastructure, ICT facilities or sufficient continuity of operations to complete activities remotely. If that is the case for you, please get in touch with us and we will discuss other options for how to maintain your certification.
We have adapted our service delivery to ensure we can remain fully operational and continue to provide our training solutions to our clients whilst safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our staff, trainers and customers. This means your staff can attend training from the comfort of their own home and not be subject to any risk from travelling. Our remote delivery platforms allow us to offer the same inclusive and interactive learning as you would access from attending a face to face session.
Our bespoke training can still be designed to meet your specific needs and delivered remotely at a time to suit your business, using the latest technology available to create a virtual training room for your staff to participate in.
We are working with our awarding bodies to be able to adapt our methods of assessment to offer remotely for our regulatory accredited courses, whether this be for first time accreditation or if you wish to renew a qualification. With regard to the renewal of First Aid qualifications such as Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work, the Health and Safety Executive and Department for Education have released a statement which extends the validity of these types of qualifications by 3 months. This allows any requalification to be postponed until a later date.
If you are unable to access our services remotely, we will work with you to schedule new training provision and reschedule any planned training sessions to a future date.
