We have also added specific support for the hospitality & leisure sector, as venues prepare to open their doors again when the rules allow.

Guidance for new certification clients
Are we taking on new clients?
Yes. We are taking on new clients and providing our usual audit and assessment services remotely, or at your premises if you have a Covid-19 Risk Assessment in place. Our Certification Manager has developed new procedures for remote auditing and has fully briefed our team of auditors on what arrangements need to be made to make them work for you.
If you choose to work with Centre for Assessment, we will help you complete your audit/assessment at a time and in a way that best suits you. Our service will have the usual rigour and quality that makes us the provider of choice for thousands of ISO, EN 1090/14065, Customer Service Excellence, Lexcel, Cyber Essentials and BS 76000/5 clients across the UK and abroad.

Guidance for existing certification clients
How has Coronavirus affected our services?
Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a high number of telephone and email enquiries. We aim to respond to your email within five working days and will provide you with the information you need. There may be a delay with the issue of your report and certificate as well. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused. If you have an urgent enquiry about an assessment that is due within the next two weeks, please call our Operations team on 0161 237 4080.
How have we adapted our services?
In line with Government guidance, Centre for Assessment is delivering many audits and assessments remotely. We are confident that virtual delivery of our services will have limited impact on the quality and robustness you can expect to receive from us.

What if a remote audit/assessment is not possible?
We recognise that some of our clients will not have the infrastructure, ICT facilities or sufficient continuity of operations to complete activities remotely. If that is the case for you, we may be able to deliver our services at your premises based on the Risk Assessment control measures you have in place and any local lockdown restrictions.
We have adapted our service delivery to ensure we can provide many courses through virtual platforms. This means your staff can attend training from the comfort of their own home and not be subject to any risk from travelling. Our remote delivery platforms allow us to offer the same inclusive and interactive learning as you would access from attending a face to face session.
Our bespoke training can still be designed to meet your specific needs and delivered remotely (or on site, if you have appropriate controls in place) at a time to suit you and your organisation
We are working with our awarding bodies to be able to adapt our methods of assessment for our regulatory accredited courses if you wish to renew a qualification. Regarding the renewal of First Aid qualifications such as Emergency First Aid at Work and First Aid at Work, the Health and Safety Executive and Department for Education have released a statement which extends the validity of these types of qualifications by 3 months. This allows any requalification to be postponed until a later date.
If you are unable to access our services remotely, we will work with you to schedule new training provision and reschedule any planned training sessions to a future time.
