This part of the programme aims to develop an understanding of the organisational goals of the team and how to motivate team members to achieve them. You’ll cover the following areas:
Day 2 - Practical Leadership
On the second day, you’ll develop an understanding of the key elements to effective team integration - from induction and coaching for new staff, to support for existing team members to improve performance. You’ll cover the following areas:
Learn how to motivate your team to drive performance and achieve their targets. Understand how to work and build on individuals' strengths. Develop coaching skills to support your team and recognise how people learn. Be able to deal with difficult situations, manage conflict and deal with under performance effectively. Know how to set clear expectations and deliver constructive feedback. On this course, you will:
Learn what makes a good leader, and discover practical tips which you can apply straight into your business.
The programme is ideal for individuals looking to take their first steps into management, and for those who already have some management responsibilities. The course would suit people looking to progress into – or who are already in – the below roles:
