The matrix Standard
Revised earlier this year, matrix is the Department for Education’s (DfE’s) quality Standard for organisations that deliver Information, advice and/or guidance (IAG).
It seeks to improve these services by setting out best practice against which an organisation can be benchmarked. For those able to demonstrate that they meet the requirements of the scheme, accreditation through assessment is available at any time.
Popular amongst training providers, universities, colleges and schools, VCOs and more, matrix looks at processes used to support IAG delivery but also the results these services achieve.

The matrix Standard
Trusted Standard
This quality mark, backed by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) is designed to help organisations assess their operational quality and gain independent accreditation.
Trusted Standard consists of 11 quality areas for the voluntary and community sector, including governance, managing people, learning and development, and managing resources. Organisations can work towards one of two levels, starting with a self-assessment and then having the option of an external assessment.
