Level 2 Award in Food Safety
This course is designed to provide you with an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice.

What does the course include?

This is a nationally-recognised one-day course and, following a short examination, successful participants will receive the qualification.  Different versions of the training are available to cover those who work in catering, food manufacturing and food retail.  Topics include hazards, temperature control, cleaning, equipment and legislation.

Who is the course suitable for?

Anyone who works with or around food will be legally required to have some form of training in food safety.  This course is intended to provide a basis for more advanced studies in all aspects of food hygiene.

How much does it cost?

1 to 6 delegates: £495        7 to 12 delegates: £595

Food Safety
Level 3 Award in Food Safety
This course provides a thorough understanding of food safety, emphasising the importance of monitoring staff and controls.

What does the course include?

This is a nationally-recognised three-day course and, following a short examination, successful participants will receive the qualification.  Different versions of the training are available to cover those who work in catering, food manufacturing and food retail.  Topics include contamination control, supervisory management and legislation.

Who is the course suitable for?

Anyone working in a supervisory position in the food industry is accountable for food safety.  Therefore, this course will equip participants with the knowledge and confidence to do their job effectively.

How much does it cost?

1 to 6 delegates: £1,495         7 to 12 delegates: £1,695

HACCP
Level 2 Award in HACCP
This course is designed for those working or preparing to work in food businesses where a food safety management system based on Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points is implemented.

What does the course include?

This one-day qualification meets the requirement for training on the application of HACCP principles under Regulation (EC) No. 852/2004.  There are two versions of the course: catering and food manufacturing.

Who is the course suitable for?

The course is particularly useful for those involved in the implementation and maintenance of HACCP-based systems, as well as those who are, or intend to become, members of HACCP teams.

How much does it cost?

1 to 6 delegates: £495          7 to 12 delegates: £595

Costs include the course fee and the multiple-choice examination.

HACCP
Level 3 Award in HACCP
Food business operators are responsible for ensuirng that adequate training in the application of HACCP principles is delivered to relevant members of staff.

What does the course include?

Based on a one-day classroom-based programme, this qualification is designed to ensure candidates develop the required knowledge and practical skills to implement a HACCP plan in their workplace.  It includes the importance of HACCP, developing a procedure, how to keep accurate records and understanding national regulations.

Who is the course suitable for?

Managers and supervisors of all food manufacturing or catering businesses responsible for the development of a food safety management system based on HACCP principles.

How much does it cost?

1 to 6 delegates: £995            7 to 12 delegates: £1,295

Costs include the training fee and Highfield examinations.
