Every organisation is required by law to have a number of employees who hold First Aid qualifications. Our Ofqual-regulated First Aid qualifications are certified through Highfield and are available for in-company delivery.
The one-day course will give you an understanding of the basics of First Aid. Topics covered include incident and casualty management, dealing with an unconscious person, wounds and bleeding, burns, and first aid kits. All courses are elivered at our socially-distanced training rooms in Manchester city centre.
We are a Highfield approved training centre, meaning that our Health & Safety courses are nationally recognised, Ofqual regulated qualifications.
The one-day course covers a range of topics, including the workplace and workplace equipment, manual handling, hazardous substances, ergonomics and workstation design, transport and vehicles, noise and vibration, welfare and legislation.

This 90-minute course will cover different types of fire and the type of extinguisher needed to tackle them safely, should the need arise. A practical demonstration is included, giving you the chance to practice your skills in a controlled environment.
This course is designed to provide you with an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food hygiene practice.
This is a nationally recognised one-day course and, following a short examination, successful participants will receive the qualification. Different versions of the training are available to cover those who work in catering, food manufacturing and food retail. Topics include hazards, temperature control, cleaning, equipment and legislation.
